Army chief visits Border Guard unit in southern military zone

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti on Tuesday highlighted the continuous efforts of the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) towards improving the border security system.
Huneiti, during a tour of the Royal Border Guard Brigade/8, a unit in the southern military zone, said that the armed forces will give due care to its members, notably in the operational, training and logistical fields to carry out their roles efficiently and competently, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
He also conveyed His Majesty King Abdullah's, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), greetings to the unit’s personnel, commending their efforts and praising the "distinguished level" of professionalism they achieved.
