Jordan’s imports from US drop by 13.1% — DoS

AMMAN — Jordan’s trade balance surplus with the US stood at JD187 million by the end of November of 2020, according to the Department of Statistics (DoS).
The department’s monthly report cited by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, showed that the value of national exports to the US in the January-November period of 2020 reached JD1.085 billion, compared with JD1.26 billion during the same period of 2019.
Meanwhile, the Kingdom's imports from the US, during the January-November period of 2020, went down by 13.1 per cent to reach JD898 million, compared with JD1.033 billion in the same period of 2019, according to the DoS data.
