Second military field hospital in Irbid commences work

AMMAN — The second military field hospital at Prince Rashed Bin Al Hassan Military Hospital in Irbid on Tuesday received the first COVID-19 patient.
Royal Medical Services (RMS) Director General Brig. Gen. Adel Wahadneh said that the hospital is provided with all equipment and devices needed for COVID-19 patients, noting that the hospital will serve personnel of the Jordan Armed Forces-Armed Forces, their families and Irbid residents in coordination with the Health Ministry, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The RMS is scheduled to inaugurate a third field hospital with the aim of developing capabilities to deal with the pandemic, increasing the occupancy of the three field hospitals to 900 beds, including 220 for ICU, Petra added.
