Constitutional Court president receives copy of 2019 NCHR report

AMMAN — Constitutional Court President Hisham Tal on Monday received a copy of the 2019 National Centre for Human Rights (NCHR)  report from the centre's Chairman of the Board of Trustees Irhail Gharaibeh.

Tal said that the court places “much attention to the report that is issued by an independent and impartial national institution” to enhance cooperation between the court and the NCHR, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

For his part, Gharaibeh went over the main aspects of the report and the role of the centre in the human rights field and mechanisms of dealing with complaints within the law.
