Magnitude 3.9 quake recorded in Aqaba

AMMAN — An earthquake measuring 3.9 on the Richter scale at a depth of 12 kilometres was recorded in Aqaba on Tuesday, the Jordan Seismological Observatory said.
The earthquake, registered at 4:30am, hit the northeastern area of the coastal city and was felt by its residents, according to the observatory, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
