During the meeting, the minister unveiled new sanitation schemes scheduled to be implemented early next year, one of which aims to serve Ramtha and the Houran Plain areas at a value of 100 million euros, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The minister added that the value of French aid provided to the water sector by the French Development Agency (AFD) in 2019 and 2020 exceeded 400 million euros, which was directed to improve the water quality and sanitation services.
