AMMAN — Visit Jordan website www.visitjordanfromhome.com has witnessed more than 65,000 visits since it was launched in mid-May with the aim of promoting tourism in the Kingdom amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Jordan Tourism Board (JTB) Director General Abdul Razzaq Arabiyat said on Wednesday.

The website was promoted in regional and international news websites, especially in targeted countries in Europe and the US, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, quoted Arabiat as saying.

He added that the website includes videos and photos of several tourist and archaeological sites that were shot with 3D technology and 360 degrees. The director noted that the website produced high-definition 3D materials for Petra, the Jordan Museum, the Royal Automobile Museum, Al Shoubak Castle, the King Hussein Mosque, the Dead Sea Panorama, the Roman Theatre and other attractions in the Kingdom.
