AMMAN — Parts of Amman’s Al Salihin, Al Maqablin and Um Nawara neighbourhoods, as well as Mafraq’s Balama village, Jerash’s Marsa village will be isolated and placed under a one-week comprehensive curfew as of Wednesday 6am.
The decision of the work, production and supply chains committee comes after the recommendations of the National Centre for Security and Crisis Management's (NCSCM) crisis cell on COVID-19 due to the deteriorating epidemiological situation in these regions, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Extension of the isolation and comprehensive curfew in these regions will be considered later in accordance with the developments in the epidemiological situation.
Amman, Mafraq and Jerash governors have been authorised to take the necessary decisions to ensure the entry of vital supplies and the issuance of permits, as well as to handle humanitarian and emergency cases in the three regions.
