AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti on Tuesday visited the Jordan Armed Forces’ electronic warfare department to get a first-hand look of the department's tasks, and efforts to maintain the security of the Kingdom and the armed forces.

Huneiti also paid a visit to Queen Rania Association for Welfare of Military Personnel and their Families, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. During his visit, Huneiti was briefed on the association's efforts towards providing military personnel, active and retired, children of officers who died in the line of duty, widows and underprivileged people who are disabled as result of injuries sustained while on duty.

Established in 2004, the association is an interface between the military personnel and their families on the one hand, and government and non-government bodies dealing with humanitarian affairs inside the Kingdom on the other.
