AMMAN — Jordan on Monday denounced Houthis' ongoing attempts to target civilians in Saudi Arabia. The most recent attempt was a ballistic missile launched towards “civilian targets” in the kingdom's southern region, intercepted and destroyed by the Arab coalition forces, according to a Foreign Ministry statement.
Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Daifallah Fayez expressed the Kingdom’s full solidarity with and support for Saudi Arabia in facing any threats to its security.
Fayez also voiced Jordan’s condemnation of such terrorist attacks, reiterating that “both kingdoms’ security is intertwined” and that “any threat to Saudi Arabia is a threat to the security and stability of the entire region”. He also lauded the capabilities of the Arab coalition and their success in confronting the attacks.
