Jordan voices solidarity with Lebanon after Beirut blasts

AMMAN — Under the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah, Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi on Tuesday telephoned his Lebanese counterpart Charbel Wehbe, voicing the Kingdom’s solidarity with Lebanon, which was hit by massive explosions earlier in the day.
Safadi expressed Amman's readiness to provide all necessary support to Beirut.
The foreign minister expressed condolences over the victims of the blast, wishing the injured a speedy recovery, according to a ministry statement. Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Daifallah Fayez said that no injuries among Jordanians were reported as of Tuesday night, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
