AMMAN — Operations to repatriate Jordanians from abroad via land and air crossings have been suspended from Saturday, June 27 until July 10, with the exception of pre-arranged trips, Mazen Faraiah, director of operations at the National Centre for Security and Crisis Management crisis cell announced on Saturday.
Faraiah, in a statement shared with the Jordan News Agency, Petra, added that the decision was taken for reasons related to reorganising reception, quarantine and medical examination procedures.
He also highlighted the “noticeable increase” in the number of infections reported among people at quarantine sites and those who come into contact with them.
