King grants additional service year to all army, service personnel

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), on Wednesday ordered that the personnel of the JAF and security entities be granted a one-year service credit, to be provided upon the termination of their service, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
In a Tweet posted on his official account on the anniversary of the Great Arab Revolt and Army Day, the King said: “In recognition of the efforts of JAF and security apparatuses’ personnel and in appreciation for their sacrifices and contributions to defending the country, I order that all army and security agencies’ personnel be granted an additional service year upon the termination of their service.”
