AMMAN — A plane carrying Jordanian students returning from Turkey arrived on Wednesday at Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) as part of the government’s plan to bring home stranded students and expatriates from countries where COVID-19 has spread.

Director of Moral Guidance Mukhlis Muflih said that the plane carried 225 passengers from Istanbul, adding that another flight will arrive at QAIA from the Russian capital Moscow at a later time, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Muflih noted that 577 Jordanians returned home on Tuesday on three planes from Egypt and Turkey.
