Money exchanges permitted to begin commercial transfers — CBJ

AMMAN — The Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) on Saturday decided to allow permitted money exchanges to provide money transfer services for commercial purposes.
The service will be provided in accordance with the same measures and conditions previously specified for allowing money exchanges to provide services, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The CBJ stressed that it will closely monitor the proper application of procedures and measures to provide the service, and will review the mechanisms for providing the service according to later developments and feedback.
