Tarawneh slams Houthi missile attack on Saudi cities

AMMAN — President of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union (APU) and Lower House Speaker Atef Tarawneh on Monday condemned a recent Houthi missile attack that targetted Riyadh and Jizan in Saudi Arabia.
In an APU statement, carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, Tarawneh reiterated the importance of abiding by the UN Security Council sanctions on supplying Houthi militias with weapons.
He also voiced the union’s support to Saudi Arabia in countering all forms of terrorism and ensuring the safety of its residents.
