AMMAN — Education Minister Tayseer Nueimi on Monday said that the Ministry of Education, in cooperation with its partners, will work to activate an e-learning platform to provide multi-media content for students in all grades for the second semester.
Nueimi told the Jordan News Agency, Petra that the platform will be activated in the case that schools are suspended, as an alternative plan prepared by the ministry under national efforts to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus.
He said that the ministry may resort to broadcasting lessons through some television channels to reach areas where Internet services may not be available. Nueimi also highlighted the ministry’s efforts to educate students and raise awareness in schools regarding coronavirus prevention.
