Jordan condemns assassination attempt on Sudan PM

AMMAN — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Monday condemned the failed assassination attempt on Sudanese Prime Minister Abdallah Hamdok.
Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Deifallah Fayez reaffirmed the ministry’s rejection of such attempts that aim to tamper with the security and stability of Sudan, according to a Foreign Ministry statement.
He also stressed the importance of regional and international cooperation to combat terrorism, reiterating Jordan’s stance in support of the Sudanese people and government.
