Irbid CDD extinguishes forest fire in Wadi Al Raqqad

AMMAN — The eastern Irbid Civil Defence Department (CDD) firefighters on Wednesday extinguished a fire that erupted on a 60-dunum plot of land containing grass and forest trees at Irbid’s Wadi Al Raqqad area.
CDD cadres prevented the fire from expanding to adjacent areas, the department said, noting that the fire did not result in any loss of life, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
