Speaker, UAE envoy talk cooperation

AMMAN — Lower House Speaker Atef Tarawneh on Thursday expressed Jordan’s appreciation for the UAE’s supportive stance led by Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, underscoring the solid ties between the two countries.

During a meeting with the UAE’s Ambassador to Jordan Ahmed Balushi, Tarawneh reiterated the significance of sustaining joint parliamentary coordination, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Balushi conveyed Speaker of the UAE’s Federal National Council Amal Al Qubaisi’s greetings, praising the Lower House’s stance in support of Arab issues. The envoy highlighted the role of Jordanian expatriates in the UAE’s development process.
