AMMAN — Volunteers will begin this week renovating public schools across the Kingdom as part of a campaign inaugurated under the umbrella of the “Urdon Al Nakhwa” initiative launched back in March.
The campaign was launched in cooperation with a number of civil society institutions and volunteers to empower youth in their role within their communities, especially school and university students.
As part of the campaign, schools and classrooms will be renovated and decorated to improve the quality of the learning environments, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
These efforts are being made ahead of the 2019/2020 academic year, starting on September 1, as 3,865 public, private and military schools, among others, prepare to receive around two million students.
