Dababneh appointed gov’t coordinator for human rights

AMMAN — Prime Minister Omar Razzaz on Thursday appointed Abeer Dababneh as the government coordinator for human rights.
Dababneh holds a PhD in gender studies from the University of Leicester, UK, as well as a master's degree in law from the University of Jordan (UJ), the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
She is a professor at UJ's faculty of law and has served as director of the Centre for Women’s Studies at the UJ since 2013.
