AMMAN — Director General of the Social Security Corporation (SSC) Hazim Rahahleh on Monday met with a delegation from the Nashama Forum for Jordanian Expatriates, headed by Mohammad Rifai, to discuss social security issues for Jordanians abroad.
Rahahleh said that the corporation’s existing insurance system parallels the social security systems in many developed countries in terms of the services that it offers, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
He added that the corporation is working on establishing an online platform to update its members’ information in order to make subscription and payments abroad easier for them. Rifai said that the forum works in 34 countries to offer services for around 1.2 million Jordanian expatriates.
