Government prepares for Coronation Day celebrations

AMMAN — Interior Minister Salameh Hammad on Monday chaired a meeting to discuss preparations for the nationwide celebrations of the 20th anniversary of His Majesty King Abdullah’s coronation.

Hammad, in the presence of Minister of State for Media Affairs and Government Spokesperson Jumana Ghunaimat and Minister of Culture and Youth Mohammad Abu Rumman, said that celebrating this occasion reflects Jordanians’ pride in Hashemite leadership, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The minister also directed governors to cooperate and coordinate with all institutions and to take the necessary security and administrative measures to celebrate the occasion.
