AMMAN — Prime Minister Omar Razzaz on Thursday attended a celebration at Al Hussein Sports City on the occasion of Jordan’s 73rd Independence Day. The celebration was organised by the Palestinian Affairs Department in cooperation with a number of public institutions, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
At the celebration, Razzaz said that the occasion reminds Jordanians of their role in protecting the country and defending the causes of the Arab and Islamic nations, with Palestine at the forefront.
Razzaz pointed to His Majesty King Abdullah’s three no’s: “No alternative homeland, no settlement and no meddling with the Hashemite Custodianship of Jerusalem,” describing them as unwavering and historic stances that will not be doubted or compromised.
