AMMAN — Chairman of the Lower House’s Health and Environment Committee, MP Issa Khashashneh, stressed that the panel stands by citizens in its drive to lower the prices of medicine.

At a meeting on Sunday, the lawmaker said the meeting came to discuss the various points of view related to pharmaceutical products, supplements and supplies.

The meeting was attended by the Jordan Pharmacists Association’s President Zeid Kilani and representatives from the Owners of Drug Stores and Pharmacies Association, along with Hanan Sboul, who represented local pharmaceutical producers.

Khashashneh called on acquainting citizens with policies and standards related to pricing medicines and medical supplies.
