Missing Abu Nusair girl ‘was not kidnapped’ — police

AMMAN — The Public Security Department (PSD) on Saturday announced that a girl reported missing on Tuesday in the Abu Nusair area in north Amman was found on Saturday.
Police said in a statement on Sunday that the girl was not harmed nor was she kidnapped, brushing off rumours circulated on social media platforms.
The PSD spokesperson, in the statement, said that they sent the girl to the Family Protection Department in north Amman and that she was in a good health, adding that this is not the first time the girl had gone missing, Petra reported.
