‘Ramadan of goodness’ to be launched today

AMMAN — The “Ramadan of goodness in Jordan” programme will be launched today, which seeks to enhance values of solidarity and goodness through the implementation of a variety of cultural and religious activities across the Kingdom’s municipalities.
The programme’s festivities will be held on Thursday and Friday of every week until the end of the holy month, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. As part of the celebrations, a number of traditional markets and bazaars will be set up, in addition to a variety of artistic and musical segments.
The programme, which is a joint effort between a number of ministries and institutions, will hold a number of philanthropic initiatives to shed light on the importance of charity and volunteer work.
