AMMAN — The International Council of Voluntary Agencies (ICVA) on Monday organised a meeting for a number of local and international NGOs operating in Jordan and regionally, according to an ICVA statement.
The meeting covered the latest developments with regards to The Grand Bargain humanitarian agreement’s agenda, which comes as an international response to the outcomes and work streams of the 2018 Istanbul conference, in order to initiate the localisation of humanitarian work.
Alexander Gaus, project manager at the Global Public Policy Institute, gave a presentation on the unified “8+3” reporting template developed jointly by the ICVA and the German Federal Foreign Office.
The purpose of the template is to facilitate the work of international and local organisations and their ability to connect with international donors away from administrative and procedural complications.
