Jordanians in Kenya ‘unharmed’ as terror hits Nairobi hotel

AMMAN — The Foreign Ministry said there were no Jordanians among the victims of the Nairobi terror attack that struck a hotel in Kenya's capital on Tuesday, according to a ministry statement on Wednesday.

Ambassador Sufian Qudah, the ministry's spokesperson, said that officials had followed up with the Jordanian Embassy in Nairobi, which reported that no Jordanians were among the victims or the injured.

Commenting on the attack that resulted in at least 15 deaths, Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi on Tuesday condemned in a Tweet the terrorist attack, expressing his condolences to the Kenyan government and people over the loss of life, and wished the injured a speedy recovery, the Jordan News Agency Petra, reported on Wednesday.
