ICT Ministry, engineers’ association explore cooperation

AMMAN — ICT Minister Muthana Gharaibeh on Saturday discussed with Ahmad Samara Zu’bi, president of the Jordanian Engineers Association (JEA), possible areas of cooperation, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
During the meeting, attended by Secretary General of the ICT Ministry Nader Thneibat and JEA Vice President Fawzi Masad, a road map was formulated for cooperation in training and employment, digital transformation, export of services and other mutual fields.
The two sides also agreed to strengthen cooperation in training graduates in the ICT sectors to allow them to keep abreast of accelerating global technological developments, as well as qualify them to access the local and Arab markets.
