Rain expected in south today, might extend northward

AMMAN — A depression centred over Turkey is expected to affect the Kingdom on Wednesday. The southern region of the Kingdom should expect partly cloudy to cloudy conditions, with chances of scattered showers, including thunderstorms.
It might extend to the central and southern areas of the Kingdom and westerly winds will be moderate to brisk. Similar weather conditions will prevail on Thursday with north-westerly moderate winds, according to a statement by the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).
Temperatures on Wednesday are expected to be around 14ºC, dropping to 9ºC at night, in Amman, and will range between 24ºC and 13ºC in Aqaba.
