Authorities confirm no Jordanians among victims of Iran earthquake

AMMAN — No Jordanians were among the victims of the earthquake that struck Iran’s Kermanshah province, near Iraq’s Khanaqin district of the Diali province, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, on Monday.
Jordanian diplomatic missions in Baghdad, Tehran and Irbil contacted authorities in these areas to confirm the safety of Jordanians residing in the cities struck by the quake, a ministry statement said.
The ministry called on Jordanians who receive information on the injury of any compatriots in the struck area to directly contact the operations centre at 00962795497777.
