Committee amends Lower House is draft of 2018 tax law

AMMAN —The Senate’s Finance and Economy Committee, headed by Senator Umayya Toukan on Monday amended the 2018 income tax draft law as referred by the Lower House, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The senators taking part in the meeting stressed that they wanted a modern tax law that falls in line with national interests and improves the existing legislation, as well as enforces justice related to taxes and promotes economic growth.
