AMMAN — The King Abdullah II Fund for Development (KAFD) on Saturday is scheduled to inaugurate the eighth Jordan Gaming summit, under the title “Technology at its Best”.
The two-day summit, which will be held at the King Hussein Business Park’s theatre, is part of activities organised by the Jordan Gaming Lab in cooperation with the Jordan Union of Electronic Game Developers, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
KAFD said that the summit will discuss updates in the digital gaming industry, locally, regionally and internationally, in the presence of international and local experts.
The fund added that the event provides an opportunity for Jordanian game developers to showcase their games to those interested in the industry.
A dialogue session is scheduled to be held at the Royal Tank Museum on the second day of the summit, with the participation of Jordanian, Arab and international companies and independent developers in the electronic gaming industry.
The gaming industry in the Kingdom includes 16 companies that employ more than 500 workers, according to the KAFD.
