AMMAN — The Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply has finished amending the 2009 Chambers of Commerce By-law and the 2005 Chambers of Industry By-law to ensure flexible elections for the chambers.
The Independent Election Commission will now be responsible for administrating and supervising those elections, upon a Cabinet decision following a ministry recommendation, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The ministry has faced many difficulties dealing with chamber elections, especially in terms of providing human resources to supervise the elections.
