King visits Jadara Equipment and Defence Systems Company

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday visited Jadara Equipment and Defence Systems Company, which is a national project to develop and manufacture anti-tank missiles.
During a tour of the company’s facilities, King Abdullah was shown the research and development centre and the factory for day and night vision sights.
His Majesty was briefed on the manufacturing processes of the RPG-32 Nashshab anti-tank missile and the Terminator anti-tank guided missile, as well as the company’s future plans to develop its products while utilising the latest technologies.
The Jadara Equipment and Defence Systems Company employs 124 Jordanian engineers and technicians.
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat and Adviser to His Majesty and Director of the Office of His Majesty Manar Dabbas accompanied the King on the visit.
Jadara provides 124 job opportunities of competent technicians and engineers, who specialise in the industry, according to the statement.
