2nd round of Jordan Drift Championship commences on Friday

AMMAN — The second round of the Jordan Drift Championship will be held at the Dead Sea Service Park on Friday with an intriguing early battle taking shape at the top of the standings, a press release said on Thursday.
Following an exhilarating opening round in February, Mohammed Noufal stunned the field with his performance to take top spot in the standings. He edged the 2017 Champion, Mohammad Al Foqahaa, into second place, with Abdelrahman Khorma, from Palestine, taking third.
Ahmad Al Jabali was fourth. "It was a great battle in the opening round so we can expect more of the same this weekend from round two,” said Othman Nassif, CEO of Jordan Motorsport.
All the big names are again competing in Friday’s event which will kick off with the first car at 4pm. Up to 50 cars are expected. The 2018 Jordan Drift Championship consists of five rounds.
