Senate delegation discusses parliamentary ties with Oman

AMMAN — A Senate delegation to Oman, headed by Senator Nayef Hadid, on Wednesday met with Chairman of the Omani State Council Yahya Al Mantheri and Chairman of Majlis A’Shura Khalid Al Maawali and discussed parliamentary cooperation.
Hadid said that the Kingdom enjoys “distinguished” relations with Oman and that both countries share similar stances over regional issues, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The Omani side highlighted the “historical” ties between the two countries, stressing the importance of Jordan’s role in defending regional causes.
