Jordan’s Baqlah taking America by storm

AMMAN — Jordan’s Olympic swimmer, Khader Baqlah, is going down a storm in the USA, after winning gold and bronze medals at one of the country’s top University meets, according to the Jordan Olympic Committee News Service.
Baqlah won the 200 and finished third in the 500-yard events for Florida University at the SEC Championships, which brings together the top universities in the south east region of the USA.
He won the 200 yards in a time of 1:31.96 before taking bronze in the 500-yard in a time of 4:14.48. He then joined his teammates to win the 800-yard relay.
His performances have helped his university finish on top of the standings.
