Transport minister visits Jordan Hijaz Railway Corporation

AMMAN — Minister of Transport Jamil Mujahed on Wednesday visited The Jordan Hijaz Railway Corporation (JHRC) where he met with JHRC Director General Azmi Nalshek, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Mujahed said that the JHRC intends to complete the construction of a museum of the Hijaz railway, with the support of the Turkish Development Agency “TIKA”.
It will document the history of the railway since its establishment, embodying the depth of the Jordanian-Turkish friendship, according to Petra. For his part, Nalshek said that the JHRC has restored several steam engines, trains and vehicles.
