In a statement issued over the weekend, IYF executive board announced its decision that seeks to "enable Jordanian youth to get their voices heard and to give talented and motivated young people the opportunity to acquire the skills and knowledge to actively contribute to the development of their societies”.
IYF is an international non-profit youth organisations network that aims to empower youth worldwide through improving the status of youth and promote cooperation between youth organisations in different countries, the statement said.
Commenting on her recent appointment, Qashou said: “It is important to address youth issues and aspirations through human rights based approach, which will, with no doubts, change the game actors and outcomes.”
