Army chief attends iftar with military retirees in Irbid

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat on Monday attended an iftar banquet with several military retirees in the northern governorates, held by the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) in Irbid, 80km north of Amman.
The director general of the Economic and Social Association of Retired Servicemen and Veterans and a number of senior officers joined the fast-breaking iftar meal and gave thanks to His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the JAF, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
