AMMAN — Her Majesty Queen Rania on Saturday took to Twitter to congratulate 8-year-old Jordanian Emanne Beasha, for winning the fifth season of Arabs Got Talent.
“A truly remarkable voice! Congratulations to Emanne Beasha for winning @ArabsGotTalent #Jordan,” the Queen tweeted.
Beasha won the title of the show, whose season’s final episode was broadcast on MBC, after she performed opera songs and received the highest percentage of votes, beating nine other contestants who made it to the final, according to mbc.net.
The eight-year-old child “astonished” the judges with her “exceptional talent” during the auditions, mbc.net said, adding that her “remarkable voice” attracted everyone’s attention once she stood on stage.
After her “beautiful” performance, judge Ahmad Hilmi gave her the “golden buzz”, expressing his astonishment by standing on the judges’ table and clapping for her, according to the website.
The golden buzz guaranteed Beasha a place in the semi-finals, where she “worked hard to present a performance as exceptional” as in her auditions, mbc.net continued.
In her final performance she sang “Con Te Partiro” and “amazed everyone”, the website added.
