AMMAN — Education Minister Omar Razzaz on Sunday attended a ceremony to distribute awards of the “young programmers” contest, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The competition was organised by the “Hello World Kids” organisation, in cooperation with a number of Jordanian schools.

Razzaz said that the competition enhances cooperation between the public and the private sectors, noting that programming is no longer exclusive to specialists. Some 42 students from public, private and UNRWA schools have competed for the award.
