Fixed speed cameras to be installed in Amman

AMMAN — The Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) is scheduled to install fixed speed cameras on Sunday in some of Amman’s streets, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported Saturday. The first phase of the project will include installing 19 speed camera radars.
Mohammad Faouri, director of joint management at GAM, said that the municipality will announce the locations of the cameras to the public prior to their installation. He added that GAM will also announce the starting date of the cameras’ operation.
