PSD announces working hours at border crossings

AMMAN — The Public Security Department (PSD) on Saturday announced the working hours at the King Hussein Bridge, the Wadi Araba and the Jordan Valley border crossings between April 10 and April 17, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. 

The King Hussein Bridge will be open to passengers until 3pm on April 10, with the last buses leaving at 11am. As for the VIP buses to the West Bank and for Jerusalemites, the last ones will leave at 1pm.

Diplomats, official delegations and UN employees will leave by 12 noon, when all cargo movement will cease. 

On April 11, King Hussein Bridge will be open to passengers until 7:30pm , with the last buses leaving at 5pm, with the exception of the VIP bus for Jerusalemites and diplomats, official delegations and UN employees which will leave an hour later. Cargo movement will be closed on that day.

As for April 12 and 13, cargo movement will be regular until 12 noon, Petra reported. 

On April 17, the same working hours as April 11 will be observed for all buses, expect for diplomats, official delegations and UN employees who will leave at 6:30pm. 

At the Jordan Valley border crossing, cargo movement will be closed on April 10,11, 16 and 17. On April 12 and 13, the crossing will be open until 1:40pm. 

Regular passenger movement will be closed throughout the whole period. 

On April 10, 12, 13 and 16, cargo movement at Wadi Araba border crossing will be running from 8am to 12 noon.

On April 11, 14, 15 and 17, cargo movement will be closed. Passenger movement will be as usual throughout the whole period. 

 

On May 1, cargo movement at Wadi Araba border crossing will be open from 8am to 12 noon and closed on May 2, the PSD announced, adding that passenger movement during the two days will be as usual.
