AMMAN — Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Yarub Qudah received Czech Ambassador Petr Hladik on Thursday for talks on ways to boost bilateral relations. The two reviewed preparations for a visit by a Jordanian business delegation headed by Qudah to Prague, due to start on April 25, according to a statement by the Czech embassy in Amman.
The focus of the visit will be increasing bilateral trade between Jordan and the Czech Republic, which last year reached $58.5 million, marking a 60 per cent increase compared to 2015, when it stood at $36 million. The meeting was attended by Secretary General of the ministry Yousef Al Shamali.
