Princess Basma visits autism academy, honours students

AMMAN — HRH Princess Basma on Wednesday attended a ceremony at the Autism Academy of Jordan (AAJ) and honoured students who passed an academic integration programme and moved to regular schools.
During the ceremony, held on the occasion of the World Autism Awareness Day, celebrated on April 2, Princess Basma attended art shows presented by AAJ students.
The princess was then briefed on the services AAJ provides to autistic people, and the academy's efforts to help them integrate in society, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. AAJ Director General Jamal Dalahmeh reviewed the facility's rehabilitation programmes created to help children develop their educational and behavioural skills.
