Ministry proceeds with legal action over assault on teacher

AMMAN — The Education Ministry said that it was following up on the attack on a teacher on Monday in Zarqa’s Hassan Bin Thabet School.
Education Minister Omar Razzaz contacted Zarqa Governor Mohammad Smeiran to follow up on the incident, and proceed with legal action against the perpetrators, according to a ministry statement carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra. Zarqa Education Director Mohammad Wahidi visited the teacher, upon Razzaz’s instructions, and was briefed by doctors on his condition.
